Clarity Scanner
Clarity Scanner v2.1: Details | Release Notes | Update File
Released: October 23rd, 2007
This update includes revised drivers and firmware to enhance OMR/SIMR and Imaging capabilities.
This update is required for ALL ParSCORE customers and eListen 6.0 customers. This update can be
applied to all versions of the Clarity scanner. Recalibration is REQUIRED after this update! See
the Release Notes for a complete list of the improvements and specific installation instructions.
Class Climate
Class Climate 3.1.3: Details | Release Notes | Update File
Released: July 14, 2008
This update will install version 3.1 Build 1754. A previous version of 3.1
Build 1753 is required prior to the installation of the update. Verify your
current Class Climate version before downloading the update file. In order
to check the Class Climate version - Login as the Administrator and verify
the License details under the System Information tab. If you are unsure of
your Class Climate version or need any assistance, please contact our
Technical Support department at 1-800-445-3141.
Update Instructions
- Click the Update File link about to download the installer.
- Save the installer to your computer.
- Double-click on the EXE file to begin the installation.
You must have local administrator rights on the computer to perform the
update. During the installation of the update you should avoid access to the
system. All programs accessing the Apache folder must be closed before the
installation such as Windows Explorer, Scanstation, etc.

This update is available for any existing 3.0 installation. For complete details, see the Release Notes.
- Click the update link to download the ZIP file
- Save the ZIP file to your computer
- Double-click the ZIP file to extract the files to a folder
- Open the "Update Guide" for installation instructions

Class Climate 2.6.x Security Patch: Details | Update File
Released: June 28, 2007
This patch provides a security update to 2.6.1 Build 1658 installations. This patch prevents a security issue in the user authentication screen, which allowed very technically skilled attackers to gain a valid user login. The exploit is based on hundreds of automated, systematic calls of the login screen and makes use of two different Class Climate error states which may allow the attacker to conclude information about user names and passwords.
This patch is compatible with any 2.6.x installation, but we suggest updating to 2.6.1 Build 1658 before applying the patch. This patch is not compatible with other versions. Class Climate 3.0 systems are not affected. Please be sure to download the correct patch and check your existing version prior to installation.

Update Instructions:

- Open "Read Me FIRST.txt" for instructions on how to install the update.
The update will install version 2.6.1 Build 1643. A previous version of 2.5.1 Build
1526 or 1575 is required prior to the installation of the update. Verify your current Class Climate version before
downloading the update file. In order to check the Class Climate version - Login as the Administrator
and verify the License details under the System Information tab. If you are unsure of your Class Climate
