Integrated Scannable Form Design, Printing and Data Collection

SurveyTracker Plus supports integrated scannable form design, printing, and data collection via our scanners. Scannable forms allow you to eliminate manual data entry and reduce data error–up to 99.8% accuracy. This solution integrates technologies from Scantron DesignExpert™ and ScanTools Plus® software, giving you a solution that supports scannable form design, implementation, and collection without leaving the software application.

SurveyTracker Plus and SurveyTracker Plus E-Mail/Web support Image Clip capture from supported iNSIGHT™ scanners, collecting written responses on forms exactly as the respondent wrote them. Image Clip capability accelerates the data collection process by bypassing the tedious manual entry of written data and providing the most accurate representation of what your respondents wrote.

Multiple Survey Distribution Options

SurveyTracker Plus E-Mail/Web allows you to distribute your survey using the best method for your respondents. You can send the surveys using one method or any combination of the supported methods and there's no limitation to the number of responses you can collect. Data collection methods include: paper, two types of e-mail (HTML and text), Web survey on your server, web surveys on the auto-host web server, Survey-by-Disk, and classic paper-based surveys. All electronic surveys offer rapid, automatic data collection.

Trouble-free Survey Design

An intuitive and effectively designed survey is a critical building block for success. SurveyTracker Plus has made the design process painless with pre-written questions, wizards, styles and much more.

  • Wizards: Many features in SurveyTracker Plus are accessed through wizards which make it easier to create a survey or report, define a survey style that you can apply to your entire survey at once, or distribute surveys using your favorite method. Wizards simplify tasks that might otherwise appear complicated.
  • Project Organization: SurveyTracker Plus provides a convenient and informative Project Table that keeps your work organized and easily accessible. You can organize projects into categories and drag and drop them between categories.
  • User-Definable Libraries: SurveyTracker Plus includes five libraries that contain both pre-written and user-definable content. The libraries include: a survey library with over 100 pre-written surveys, a question library, a message library, an image library, and a survey style library. In addition, a report library allows you to use reports from any project as a template for a new report
  • Design Screens: SurveyTracker Plus' survey and design screens offer a flexible What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get (WYSIWYG) interface with full drag-and-drop capabilities and multi-lingual support for western European languages such as French, Italian, Spanish, and German. The survey's on-screen appearance will match the printed output or the final Web survey.
  • Question Design: SurveyTracker Plus provides maximum flexibility in designing surveys that use any of the scale types supported: single response, multiple response, horizontal numerical, fixed sum, forced ranking, yes/no, true/false, write-in text, write-in numeric, and write-in date. Each question can have up to six scales with each scale supporting up to 300 scale choices.
  • Hidden Questions: SurveyTracker Plus supports hidden questions. Hidden questions are used to pre-populate response data during data collection. In scannable forms, you can pre-populate known data for an incoming stack of forms (this is conceptually similar to Sticky Headers used in Scantools DesignExpert/ScanTools). For Web surveys, hidden questions can insert data from the audience list directly into mail merge fields on the survey so the respondent sees more personalized data.
  • Styles: You can use pre-defined or user customizable survey styles. A survey style allows you to define the overall appearance of your survey, including the color schemes, the layout of questions and scales, fonts, and so forth. The survey styles are a time-saving feature that allows you to personalize your surveys and standardize them between projects.
  • ADA/Section 508 Compliancy: Convert your web survey to an optional accessibility mode that provides a simplified, high-contrast appearance that complies with standards established by the WC3, the ADA, and Section 508 of U.S. Rehabilitation Act.
  • Web Passwords: Web surveys can optionally support unique password entry for each respondent or a single password for all users..

Save Time and Money with Survey Sampling

SurveyTracker Plus software contains an extensive database to keep track of your Audience List. Audience List support allows you to include or import a list of potential respondents to use with your survey. When responses are linked to the Audience List, the more detail you have, the fewer demographic questions you need to ask in the survey, and the more options you have when generating reports.

Audience Lists can support up to 200 customizable fields, ensuring that organizations with lengthy records can use SurveyTracker Plus software. Audience List information can also be used to personalize the survey by allowing you to merge information such as the respondent's name and location onto paper surveys or as pre-slugged data on scannable forms.

SurveyTracker can use your entire audience list or random, systematic, stratified, or cluster sampling methods to generate a sub-sample of the list. The sample statistically represents the entire list and is often used to quickly and economically gather data from a large population.

Reduce Your Load through Auto-Host Web Surveys

Auto-hosting a web survey is a quick way to put a survey online without using your organization's server resources. You simply create your survey and use the built-in upload service to quickly move it to SurveyTracker's web server. The service is completely automated and simple--you do it yourself without bothering your IT department. Auto-hosted surveys incur a recurring storage fee only; there is no additional charge for the size of the survey or number of responses you receive and you can take your survey offline at any time. Additional options include save and resume capabilities and a common web password.

Versatile Data Collection

SurveyTracker Plus offers a convenient data collection screen where you can collect, review, and edit the response data from all of your distributions. Data can be entered and edited manually or collected automatically from the various electronic methods, such as scannable forms, manual entry, Web and e-mail. External data in format such as Microsoft Excel, CSV, and eListen can be imported into SurveyTracker and data can be exported (with Audience List information and response date, if desired) to a variety of file formats for use in other programs such as Microsoft Excel® or SPSS®.
