Read-Write Property.
Type: Boolean
Represents whether synchronous or asynchronous scanning is used.
Synchronous means that ScanningManager will pause after event handlers for OnSheetAtPrintHead and OnDocComplete have been completed and wait for the client to issue a BlockForScannerEvent command.
Asynchronous means ScanningManager will automatically and immediately resume scanning after event handlers for OnSheetAtPrintHead and OnDocComplete have been completed.
propget, HRESULT Synchronous([out, retval] BOOL *pVal);
propput, HRESULT Synchronous([in] BOOL newVal);
FALSE (default) |
Asynchronous event-driven scanning used. ScanningManager will continue scanning immediately after the event handlers for OnSheetAtPrintHead and OnDocComplete are executed. |
TRUE |
ScanningManager will wait for a BlockForScannerEvent call after the event handlers for OnSheetAtPrintHead and OnDocComplete are executed. |
Synchronous scanning requires that you cannot define a number of documents to stop scanning after, see SessionInfo.StopAfter property
Synchronous scanning requires ScanTools Plus to handle all errors, not your program. See ScanningManager.SetKernelErrorMode method
