Many organizations are postponing Windows 10 upgrades as much as possible, while others have critical dependencies that prohibit the move. Most businesses have migrated, but many are coping with hybrid environments or siloed Win7 (or older) environments and they need to mitigate risk. To complicate matters, Microsoft recently announced they will charge for Windows 7 support after the January 2020 end of support date! What should you do?
Join speaker Dave Koopmans and learn how actual companies have addressed and solved their Win10 migration challenges with help from Scantron Technology Solutions. Dave will address the real concerns for late adopters (and those who have recently migrated): operational costs, budget, recovering value from hardware investments, the threat of using “unsupported platforms” and how to mitigate the risk.
- Mid-size firm migrates to Win10 but experiences compatibility issues
- Retail business just upgraded to Win7 and needs to extract maximum ROI
- Manufacturer stuck on Win7, waiting for their primary business software to support Win10
- Wholesale supplier has legacy devices that require Win7 or older, cannot migrate
