Copying ScanTools application files is typically a three step operation. ScanTools 8.x application files distributed in three separate subdirectories: C:/Scanner/Applications, C:/Scanner/Profiles, and C:/Scanner/Data Files.
The Copy Application Files dialog box allows you to copy the ScanTools applications and associated files in these three directories to a different single temporary (often C:/Temp) directory (step one). After the files are copied to the temporary directory, you next use the Application Paths dialog box to set up new locations for the files (step two).
Complete the copying process by installing the files to the new directories using the Install Application Files dialog box (step three). Install Application Files automatically separates the applications and their associated files into the directories specified in the Application Paths dialog box.
Select File > Copy Application in the Scanning module to access this screen.
NOTE:You can copy multiple applications at once using Windows standard "Ctrl Click" and "Shift Click" functionality.
