SurveyTracker Plus' Course Evaluation add-on component will breathe new life into your course and instructor evaluation process. In addition to all of the SurveyTracker Plus software features that help you develop informative course evaluations, this component automates the development of meaningful and informative reports. These reports use key questions or data embedded in the course evaluations you deploy using SurveyTracker Plus software.

Any organization that conducts classes can use SurveyTracker Plus and the Course Evaluation add-on component. The component allows you to generate numerous evaluations and reports that are unique to each class or simply deploy a single course evaluation and report for multiple classes.

Collect Valuable Instructor and Course Information

You can distribute your survey and collect instructor and course information through a number of methods. The primary information for proper reporting of course evaluations is the course number and instructor. This data can be requested in write-in or multiple-choice fields, or it can be pre-established and printed on the form or included in the Audience List. Other critical demographic information can also be included.

SurveyTracker Plus distribution methods can be used to gather the course and instructor information.

• Scannable forms—Merge the course information directly onto the form as pre-slugged fields so the course and instructor IDs are automatically entered when you scan the results. In a few simple steps, you can generate a number of automated course evaluation reports.

• Non-scannable paper forms—Mail merge course evaluation and instructor information onto the form for easy hand-entry into a corresponding write-in field in the survey.

• Electronic surveys—You can either request the course and instructor name from the respondent and then generate automatic reports, or include that data in an Audience List and establish course/instructor filters based on the audience fields during reports.

Course Evaluation Reports

As soon as the evaluations are distributed and responses start coming back, you can begin creating reports. SurveyTracker Plus software quickly generates meaningful and detailed results for each instructor through advanced, automated filtering of the courses taught by each instructor. Setting up the evaluation is as easy as selecting the course, then selecting the instructor.

The best thing about this report system is that you can establish one template report, and then use it for each instructor for whom you wish to print or display results. It's as easy as checking a name or ID from a list. All of the otherwise time-consuming tasks of organizing data for each instructor and course are managed by the Course Evaluation add-on component. To keep it simple, any report can be used repeatedly for the same evaluation or for future evaluations.

You aren't limited to traditional course evaluation reports. If you want to create additional reports using a variety of other report types, the option to establish manual data filters or convenient auto-filters based on multiple-choice or write-in data is available. You can generate filters and then create graphs and tables that target specific survey questions or ideas that you want to promote or explain. The ability to auto-filter based on write-in data can be a critical function when the course numbers and instructors have not yet been defined or change from semester to semester.
