The OpScan 6/8 optical mark recognition (OMR) scanner offers fast throughput and data transfer in a durable desktop model. It's flexible design allows for distributed or centralized processing.

OpScan 6/8 Standard Features

  • A programmable, interactive printer that pri/8nts information based on scanned data–such as error codes, alphanumeric messages, serial numbers, validation flags, and test scores–with no effect on the throughput rate
  • Bar code attachment that delivers immediate, automatic bar code
  • Download capability that permits ASCII-coded output, which simplifies implementation when non-PC computers are used

  • Pentium® processor: 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) minimum
  • System memory: 1 GB minimum
  • Hard drive space: 40 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space
  • Monitor at 1024 x 768 or higher resolution
  • CD-ROM drive (for installation)
    RS232 connection or USB 1.1 or 2.0 connection:
  • Keyspan USB Serial Adapter recommended, if needed
