What are the different editions of eListen?
eListen is available in two editions - Professional and Enterprise. With both editions, you will be able to design and deploy surveys, collect data, and create reports.
With the Enterprise edition surveys can require Respondent Authentication in order to control the number of times respondents can complete a survey by requiring that they use a unique access code. With the Enterprise edition, users can create data collection profiles that will run at set intervals and load new incoming responses onto multiple databases utilizing an Auto Pump Windows Service. Also, with the Enterprise's language ability, users are able to design a survey in multiple languages. Furthermore, the Enterprise edition offers question personalization, SQL server support, SDK and additional Builder Modules.
Scantron also offers Campus and Worldwide licensing options for multiple installations at one location on multiple workstations or multiple location sites. Your sales representative can help determine the best fit for your needs.

Do I need a different version of eListen for different mediums?
You do not need a different version of eListen for different mediums. The application supports the following survey types:
eListen is a versatile solution that allows you to deploy the same survey in different mediums without redundant effort of recreating each type individually. Also, eListen has the ability to collect data from each type of survey and generate reports.
Is there a Web Hosting Service for eListen?
Yes. Scantron offers eListen Web Hosting as an effective outsourcing option for all types of Web surveys using a secure, high performance, fault tolerant service. This service is available to customers that want an alternative to using their own server to deploy and collect electronic surveys. Service options include annual hosting plans, survey deployment and maintenance, on-line reports, and unlimited database access.
How long does it take to implement the solution?
Implementing eListen is a simple, intuitive process that consists of a small number of steps. Setup time is determined by the type of survey you will be deploying, such as a web survey on your company's web server. However, installation and setup for most surveys can be completed within a day. Other requirements will also affect deployment time, such as survey design and forms printing.
Can eListen be customized to my specific needs?
Yes. eListen offers ways to extend its flexibility. Scantron Professional Services can help you create a total survey solution from design, deployment, forms printing, and custom reports to full service outsourcing. Scantron can help you get the data you need faster, more efficiently and accurately.
Once all survey data is collected, you can create custom reports using Crystal Reports. The eListen SDK (Software Development Kit) can be used to build and deploy custom Web surveys with special requirements.
Can eListen be integrated with other backend databases and systems?
The data is stored in an open database structure in the following databases: Microsoft Access or SQL Server. However, SQL Server is only supported in the eListen Enterprise version. In the eListen Analyzer, you are able to export responses to .CSV, .TAB Delimited, or .SPSS file formats to integrate into other systems.
