Higher Education & Commercial

ParSystem is a software suite that provides sophisticated yet easy-to-use testing and scoring capabilities for higher education and commercial organizations.

The suite includes ParTest, ParScore and ParTest Online. ParTest allows instructors to create customized tests quickly and easily. When combined with ParScore, statistical information for each questions including item analysis, response frequency, discrimination levels and degrees of difficulty can be tracked. ParTest Online allows users to takes tests created in ParTest electronically. ParScore features an electronic gradebook, subtesting capability and user-defined mastery reports.

K-12 Education

For K-12 classroom testing, Scantron offers several solutions. The Prosper™ assessment system is a locally-installed software product that helps educators implement true formative assessment strategies in their classrooms and schools. It provides teachers with immediate feedback tied specifically to the learning objectives for their programs so they know immediately what objectives need rework and can track and compare student and class proficiency across multiple tests.

Two other web-based solutions from Scantron provide classroom testing solutions as modules within larger, district-wide assessment solutions: Achievement Series and Performance Series. Achievement Series is a powerful assessment product that teachers can use to develop and administer tests online and on paper, capture results, and produce standards-based reports. Performance Series is a web-based computer-adaptive test that offers educators an efficient method to immediately diagnose student needs, inform placement decisions and predict performance on high stakes tests.
