Blackboard Building Block

As a Blackboard Building Block^®, Class Climate facilitates improved response rates by making it easier for students to complete their online course, faculty or program evaluations. Current Class Climate customers–those with versions 3.1.5 or higher–can download the necessary building block files.

Student Access - a direct link to the survey for each pending course evaluation is displayed to the student. Once an evaluation is completed, the link is removed from the portal.

Requirements

The Building Block requires Blackboard Learning System Release 7.3 (or higher) with the Community System or Academic Suite license and Class Climate 3.1.5 (or higher) to operate.

The Class Climate Building Block is free to Class Climate customers (3.1.5 or higher).

ETS – SIR II Student Instructional Report

By offering the SIR II report module from ETS (Educational Testing Service), Class Climate is providing users with another reliable and valid measure of course effectiveness. The SIR II™ Student Instructional Report is a quick and powerful rating instrument that objectively captures students' perceptions of their learning experiences. Class Climate customers will be able to upload their final results to the ETS website. Then, they can view the longitudinal data on the SIR II Item Bank and see how they compare to similar schools across the nation.
