Project Manager K-12

The Project Manager is responsible for supervising and managing implementation schedules for all assigned accounts. The Project Manager is also required to assist with customer training as it may relate to K-12 Business Unit products. Project Managers work closely with the customers to ensure Professional Development classes are scheduled and delivered in an organized fashion and that the customer's short and long-term instructional and assessment objectives are achieved through product installation and training. The Project Manager acts as the liaison between the customer and all departments within the company.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain account implementation plan and schedules
  • Oversee and communicate status reports for implementation activities [quarterly, year end] for internal teams, customer, and for AVP, K-12 Project Management.
  • Plan / Schedule / Facilitate regularly scheduled professional development with assigned territory schools and other staff members as required.
  • Develop / Maintain communication channel between internal departments and the customer.
  • Post implementation information and contact documentation to the appropriate internal systems.
  • Conduct weekly reviews with the AVP, K-12 Project Management regarding status of implementation plan in relation to project goals.
  • Deliver training classes as assigned. 80% of time allocated to site visits/training.
  • Prepare reports as required for all account professional development and services activities to be submitted on a scheduled basis.

Job Requirements

Education/Certification: BA or BS Degree Required. Masters in Education and/or Supervision Credentials Desirable.

Required Knowledge: High proficiency in technology applications.

Experience Required: Teaching & / or Administrative experience in a K-12 environment is required. Strong background experience in Assessment is desirable. Project management experience desirable.

Skills/Abilities: Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills are required. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. The ability to handle multiple projects, work autonomously and manage assignments simultaneously is required. Experience in delivering professional development is desirable.
